Real Talk.

“Anyone who has worked with creatives for any length of time will come to the realization that, often, the more creative an artist is, the less you can rely on them. If there’s one thing I’ve learned throughout my years of working with her, it’s that you don’t have to worry about this with Jill Clark. She invariably strives for a balanced approach to producing quality products without surrendering logistic necessities. Jill has years of experience recording, editing, and mixing music projects both in the studio and in live productions, earning her a notably well rounded resume of skillsets. When I work with her, I find myself able to breathe a little easier knowing that she is capable of handling basically anything my client may need. To sum it up, you go to Jill when you need what you asked for, you need it done passionately, and you can’t afford missed deadlines or unseen complications. When hiring Jill you’re hiring an no-nonsense, experienced professional that you can rely on.”

“When I first worked with Jill, I was going into my sophomore year and my 2nd year in Eight Beat Measure. I was unaware of the processes that came with creating an album, or the creative process involved with mixing and recording individual voices for an a cappella album. I was lucky enough to track two solo pieces with Jill, and the only thing that was on my mind at the time was whether or not I would be able to record the best vocals I could provide for this piece of art that would last forever. However, as soon as I stepped into the Sled Dog Studios booth, I knew that I was going to be in good hands. Jill is someone I can only describe as professional, passionate, talented, and just fun to be around. The way Jill worked with me helped keep me focused and also inspired me to really give my all in the studio. The experience she has with recording, editing, and mixing studio work bled through during my group’s time working with her. Jill not only delivers on the product that you’re envisioning, but she also has a knack for somehow delivering even the most minute details that you aren’t able to take from your mind and form into words. From the album to the concert that she masterfully live mixed during one of Eight Beat Measure’s concerts, Jill did it all, and with little to no complications. Hiring Jill will guarantee yourself a seasoned professional who will go above and beyond to give you the best quality service you could ever ask for.”

"We absolutely loved recording with Jill! She has this amazing ability to motivate the singers she works with, making them feel both comfortable and excited to record. The expressivity and overall sound she was able to get out of each and every one of us is incredible; she made the recording process one of the most fulfilling experiences our group has had."

“Jill is one of the best sound engineers I’ve had the chance to work with. She was great at keeping us all on track within a fixed time frame without compromising quality. She was always very clear about the sound she wanted from us, and if it wasn’t quite right she would always go for another take until we truly sang our best. She was also just a pleasure to have in the studio. After several long hours of recording, she was fun to be around and just made people laugh and feel comfortable.”
